Echo Depot™ Server Appliance
Echo Depot is a server appliance that resides at the customer’s location. It’s a preconfigured plug and play solution that can be used as a primary or secondary backup file server. Echo Depot is available as part of a monthly service package with all administration and monitoring performed by RTF staff.
Echo Depot can be easily configured to transfer data to a secure RTF data center for offsite storage. Data can be transferred automatically throughout the day or as determined by the company. Following the initial full data backup, files are copied only when they are saved, reducing bandwidth requirements and performance degradation. Backups are monitored and managed by RTF. Detailed log reports are provided to customers daily. With the added benefit of offsite storage, users can also restore files from the offsite facility through a secure web connection.
Files can be encrypted and compressed for transfer from the Echo Depot to an RTF data center. Echo Depot appliances come standard with a 250 GB or 500 GB hard drive. Higher capacity drives are available upon customer request.
