Rover Technology Fusions considers information security to be of critical importance. We follow precise security procedures and use state-of-the-art equipment to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or misuse.
- Industry standard SSL 128-bit encryption is utilized to protect data in transit when accessing backups over the web. This is the same standard as used by banking facilities.
- Data is stored on a RAID-5 array with hot spares to avoid disk failure.
- Data is backed up to tape on a daily basis. Tapes are moved to an off-site secured facility to avoid data loss in the event of a total site loss.
- To ensure the security of your account, passwords are not given out to customers. Passwords are reset following authentication protocols and user verification.
- Only Level-2 Technical Support Staff has access to your account. Account access is only permitted with customer approval & verification. In addition we monitor account access through a system audit trail.
- Both login and passwords are scrambled for your added protection.
